If Trees Could Talk, a digital response workshop

Fingal Arts Office is delighted to share this beautiful artist-led digital workshop with your school.

This digital workshop forms part of an arts-in-education project titled ‘If Trees Could Talk’, which invites children to explore the photographic work of artist Louis Haugh Click Here to Begin

Louis’ artwork, 23.5 km Southwest of Here, is currently installed on the billboard on Strand Road Portmarnock as well a number of bus shelters in the town, enabling children and adults alike to view the work at scale. This installation introduces children to Louis’ photographic works as a starting point for conversations about trees.

We invite you to seek out and explore this art in the coming days. This installation will be de-installed on May 31st.

If you do not get to view the installation please do not worry. The digital workshop is a stand-alone education resource for you to use in the classroom with children.

If Trees Could Talk is a project by artist Louis Haugh and educator Anne Bradley. Commissioned by Fingal Arts Office on the occasion of Cruinniu na nOg 2021. It is funded by Creative Ireland.
