Director of Dráiocht Emer McGowan
Emer McGowan has worked in Draiocht since it opened in 2001. She held the position of Outreach/Education officer from March 2001 to November 2003, when she was appointed Director. Prior to working in Draiocht, Emer was Director of Baboro, Galway’s International Arts Festival for Children. Other posts have included Arts Officer for the City of Dublin Youth Service Board, General Manager of Team Educational Theatre Company, Drama Development Officer with the National Association for Youth Drama and Administrator of Dublin Youth Theatre.
