Fingal County Council – Graduate Masterclass Graphic Studio Dublin 2012
As part of our continued commitment to furthering and sustaining the practice of the emerging/recent art college graduates in Fingal,Fingal Arts Office have teamed up with Graphic Studio Dublin to offer a unique opportunity for one recent graduate a chance to avail of a one week intensive master class with its studio director and master printer Robert Russell.
The successful artist will receive professional training in all aspects of fine art print technique, including etching,photo-etching,dry point and carborundum. The successful candidate will be based at the state of the art Graphic Studio at Distillery House which is located just off the North Circular Road and adjacent to Mountyjoy Square. This is a valuable skill for any artist to acquire and will allow them to explore a new medium, make new and create editions of existing work and get the chance to meet with some of Ireland’s most prestigious artists.
Criteria
All applicants must be resident/born in the Fingal administrative area
Have graduated between 2005 - 2011
Applicants will be adjucated by a panel of professional artists and arts professionals
